Independent Sales Representative: Key Accounts

Kirio is a Seattle IoT startup focused on developing the most exhaustive solution for home/office/factory automation, intelligence and continued behavioral learning.

Kirio is seeking an exceptional Independent Sales Representative.

The ideal candidate will be successful sales professionals with experience selling hardware and software in the B2B space, preferably in the construction industry. Compensation will be solely commissioned-based, with the opportunity to build a recurring revenue stream based upon software sales. Key Account Managers will typically cover a geographic based territories, but for certain nationwide accounts, the position may cover the whole country.
While Key Account Managers are expected to prospect for their accounts, they will also be provided leads generated from Kirio marketing activities.

Core Responsibilities:
• Generating new sales opportunities using Inbound and Outbound techniques including email, phone, video, social communications, etc...
• Identifying qualified sales targets and researching company and contact information
• Making outbound sales calls and following up on inbound leads
• Scheduling discovery meetings with qualified prospects with Kirio senior management support
• Tracking and updating data in CRM and Sales Development systems
• Working closely with the VP of Business Development to track success and outcomesCollaborating with team members on best practices and processes
• Innovating and testing creative ways to connect with and build trust with prospects
• Attending virtual team and all-hands meetings to understand the why behind your work

Customer Support Specialist, E-mail (Part-Time)

Kirio is seeking an exceptional Customer Support Specialist to support its growing customer base. The Specialist will be focused on our E-mail channel and will support inbound contacts by helping customers on topics ranging from the sales or installation process to some technical aspects of the product. We are looking for an someone experienced in a similar role with a genuine passion for our space. Core Responsibilities:
More specifically, this role will:
• Manage incoming E-mails and written customer contacts within the promised SLA
• Identify and document customer needs requiring action, working with internal resources through complete resolution

Kirio is seeking an exceptional B2B Sales Manager to develop its Direct to Builders sales channel, driving best-in-class customer experience, brand engagement and reach. We are looking for an exceptional sales professional with deep roots in the home construction industry either in Sales or in materials Procurement, and with a genuine passion for our industry. Success in this role requires a passion developing sales relationships in an emerging industry and a passion for continuous improvement.

Core Responsibilities:
This is a broad and high impact Sales role. It will build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals. It will collaborate with other functions of Kirio for technical support, quoting and pricing optimization, in order to increase sales opportunities and maximize revenue.

More specifically, this role will:
• Use account planning tools and marketing research to plan for an effective sales activity, tailoring Sales approach to specific verticals or customer business models.
• Initiate commercial conversations with knowledge about a customer’s business, driving them through negotiation and into closure.
• Identify key stakeholders, their objectives and metrics, and adjust messaging accordingly, by incorporating product and economic drivers to the customer business. Clearly articulate Kirio’s business model, key cost drivers, growth paths, and value proposition.
• Establish value with customers before discussing ROI/financial terms by qualifying and quantifying the impact of maintaining the status quo or pursuing competitors’ solutions.
• Create constructive tension by leveraging facts from research, benchmark data, and best demonstrated practices to introduce new ideas that challenge the status quo and reveal to customer high costs and lost revenue they may have been incurring.
• Tailor presentations and commercial insight to customer’s industry, company and contact and deliver relevant messages based on current industry trends that will impact their business.

Procurement and Supply Chain Manager

Kirio is seeking an exceptional Procurement and Supply Chain Manager to manage and optimize its purchasing and supply chain programs, supporting a best-in-class customer experience. We are looking for an experienced, analytical and execution driven professional with a genuine passion for our industry. Success in this role requires the ability to prioritize a healthy supply of all raw materials and sellable products across all the supply chain, followed by the ability to optimize costs by delivering on the right mix of direct vs indirect buying strategies.

Core Responsibilities:
This is an end-to-end Procurement and Supply Chain role. The Procurement and Supply Chain Manager will manage all planning and execution of purchasing and supply chain for Kirio. The role will work closely to our Contract Manufacturing, Engineering and Services functions.

More specifically, this role will:
• Evaluate, assess, develop, and manage the supply base to meet customer promises across the world
• Employ strategies and tactics to mitigate risk in order to ensure continuity of supply. Own our risk mitigation plan for supply shortages.
• Manage relationships with external manufacturers and distribution partners as needed
• Work collaboratively with internal teams on sourcing strategy, market analysis, trade-off analysis reviews, and supplier roadmaps to support cost, quality, and delivery targets
• Setup new suppliers as needed, administer contracts, independently negotiate contracts including pricing, technical requirements, scope, and any other terms
• Develop our overall supplier negotiation and engagement strategies
• Issue purchase orders in a scalable fashion, ensure timely delivery of purchase orders, and resolve invoice issues
• Monitor and manage costs to ensure adherence to budgets and forecasts
• Analyze supply chain and procurement data and report metrics

Requirements:
• B.S. degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or similar.

Success in this role requires the ability to optimize all aspects of a contract manufacturing relationship, working closely to the procurement and supply chain functions to optimize costs and supply.

Core Responsibilities:
This is an end-to-end Contract Manufacturing role. The Contract Manufacturing Manager will manage all planning and execution of purchasing and supply chain for Kirio. The role will work closely to our Contract Manufacturing, Engineering and Services functions.

More specifically, this role will:
• Identify, select, qualify, and manage our Contract Manufacturing partners and other strategic suppliers, not only in the US but also globally
• Lead the review and negotiation of contractual documents
• Lead the evaluation and selection of suppliers through market sourcing/research, identification of supplier capabilities, creation and administration of technical RFQ documents, proposal review, risk analysis, and negotiation of commercial terms and conditions
• Proactively research new materials and techniques that help us remain competitive and gain market share. Lead and develop strategies for materials that are unique to us
• Continuously look for new savings opportunities through analysis of data (spend, price competitiveness, logistics, etc) through hands-on review of bill of materials and onsite visits
• Manage and track supplier performance, reporting on it through Business Reviews for decision making and alignment on performance

Requirements:
